MTS launches Delhi plans

MTS India, the CDMA mobile service of Sistema Shyam Teleservices Ltd (SSTL), finally rolled out its Mobile Service in the national capital Delhi. The MTS CDMA 1X mobile network is live in Delhi & NCR telecom circle and the operator has also launched its wireless Internet service on EVDO Data Card platform with speed of 3.1 mbps . MTS introduces 2 EVDO Data Cards, the Standared Data Card comes at the price point of Rs.2999 with 2GB Free Downloads while the Primium Data Card cost Rs.3499. MTS also launches attractive Prepaid Data Plans starts from Rs.500 per month.


MTS India has chosen per second billing as its entry strategy to ensure it is able to get fast traction in the lucrative Delhi circle. “Power of 1 (Per Second plan’s brand name), combined with free one million minutes on MTS networks, will bring in high average revenue per user (ARPU).The Operator also launches all its existing scheme’s like “one million minutes of free talk time” to Delhi and NCR customers with a limit of 150 minutes usage everyday with its MSaver-499 and also 10 local SMS as bonus per day, call Charges and tariff are almost same as all other existing circles.MTS Life Time Prepaid will cost Rs.99.


All local MTS-to-MTS calls will be charged at TWO Paisa per Second; MTS-to-Other Networks calls (Mobile/ landlines) will cost ONE Paisa per second; STD calls will cost TWO Paisa per second. Local SMS (on all networks) will cost 50 paisa per SMS, while international messages will cost Rs.5 per SMS.


The MTS Customer Care number for MTS Delhi will be 9136 155 155 and 155 from MTS phones.

MTS Data Plan Rs.500 valid for 30 Days-FREE Downloads 500 MB beyond that Rs.2 per MB will be charged.
MTS Data Plan Rs.750 Valid for 30 days-FREE Downloads-2GB beyond that Rs.2 per MB will be charged..
MTS Data Plan Rs.599(Night Plan)-FREE Downloads-10GB in night only (10pm to 7am) In Day Time charges will Rs.2 per MB will be charged.
MTS Data Plan Rs.1500-FREE Downloads-10 GB beyond that Rs.2 per MB will be charged
