Shyam Telelink notches 100,000 new subscribers within 42 days of launch

In a new benchmark set by Shyam Telelink for Rajasthan circle, the operator registered 100,000 new subscribers in about 42 days of its launch of services.

The services were launched under the new alliance with Sistema on the CDMA platform. The network has been enhanced supported by longest Reliable (Optical) Transport Network and the latest Switching System leading to Next Generation IMS, claims the tie-up.

The network now spans over 12,000 villages and 600 cities in Rajasthan.

Vsevolod Rozanov, President & CEO, STL said “It’s indeed a great occasion for the entire STL family and we are obviously very pleased with the way consumers have responded to us. We thank the people of Rajasthan for showing tremendous trust in us. We have walked the talk and are committed to providing value loaded mobile telephony to the masses. We have and will continue to provide best offers with no hidden cost and quality connectivity across the country. Our services will speak for themselves. We are looking forward to launching other circles as per our plan.”

Shyam Telelink is uniquely placed with licences to operate pan-India services on both the GSM as well as CDMA domain. Currently it is on a pan-India rollout phase for CDMA-based mobile services.
